The Legazpi Village farmers market is held every Sunday in a carpark right next to Washington SyCip park in the heart of the Makati CBD.

The market offers an array of fresh produce and handicrafts from many different provinces of the Philippines, as well as offering a wide variety of international cuisines. Visitors to the market get the opportunity to create their own international food crawl.

The high-quality produce and the laid-back vibe of the market attracts many different people including locals, tourist and expats alike. This week we will be speaking to Lucas Blight, an expat who has been living in Makati for the past 4 years about this unique market. Lucas will chat to us about why the Legazpi market has become part of his weekend routine and also let us in on some of the markets secrets.
